Hello PERL guru's
I really don't know a thing about PERL, but I have to use this program to update my IP number. You can view the source if you need to. When I downloaded this program, ant I want to run it (I made it executable), it generates the following error message:
Can't locate HTTP/Request.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i586-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i586-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005 .) at /usr/local/sbin//yi-ipupdate line 14. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/sbin//yi-ipupdate line 14.
I also tried
perl yi-ipupdate
but this gave the same error message.
Thanks in advance

Hi I don't profess to be a Guru, but what this is telling you is that you dont have the perl http module installed on your system. I tried a perl script, that would _imort_ the http.pm module, and got the same type error as you. have a look at www.perl.com and then search the CPAN for http.pm or http::request. Hope this helps Pete -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
