Client: OpenSuSE 12.3 with alpine 2.00 Server: SLES11 SP3 using cyrus-imap and cyrus-sasl I have been getting "folder does not exist" errors when attempting to connect to the remote INBOX. I also get permission denied when attempting to create a remote config or remote addressbook. Opening permissions all the way on the server does not help. Logs on the server indicate that the IMAP login succeeds. Here are the relevant lines from my .pinerc: user-domain=unixpress.com inbox-path=~/Mail/$USER feature-list=incoming-checking-includes-total, enable-incoming-folders, enable-incoming-folders-checking, enable-print-via-y-command, enable-full-header-and-text, enable-lame-list-mode incoming-folders={ose3}Mail/[] address-book={ose3}remote.addressbook, Remote {ose3}remote_addrbook, Remote {ose3}remote_addrbook, Remote {ose3}remote_addrbook user-id=lucky Everything else is default. Has anyone gotten alpine to work via IMAP? I wuld appreciate any help or suggestions.
