I deal with it more from the CCTV perspective, but I am not aware of any native PCI express digitalizer that is Linux compatible. Conexant and Techwell do have native PCI-E chips, but again I am not aware that any support Linux. The PCI-E cards I have seen that do work with Linux have the same old BT787A chipset and a PCI-E to PCI bridge onboard. On the PCI bus I am too aware of the issues, sometimes certain combination of motherboards, PCI cards and other PCI cards just can't get along. That's after you get past improperly keyed PCI cards, of course. E.g.: http://store.bluecherry.net/products/PV%252d981-%252d-16-port-video-capture-... -- Med Vennlig Hilsen, A.
