Hi, A simple command such as: xset m 6.8 from a console would do it. You could then place this into ~./xinitrc to make it set each boot. After each reboot I need to reset the mouse acceleration setting in Configure Desktop from the default of 2.0x to my setting of 6.8x. As you can imagine having to reset this parameter is a REAL annoyance, yet the issue doesn't happen on onother OpenSuSE 11.0 box. I would like to know the name of which text file to use KWrite to edit, that would make my acceleration value stick. I have had a look under the /etc/sysconfig editor on Yast but have not found anything and a Google query on this is mind blowing. Any help appreciated Regards Hylton -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
