The real problem I've been having though, is that even if I use the exact same version and configuration for LILO as I did to do LILO under Slackware, it works under Slackware and not SuSE.
Is this on the same partition or drive as sw? I had rh 4.2 installed on my machine before suse, and it caused these sort ofproblems until i was tired of it and formatted the partition, and reinstalled suse.
Odd, considering, the exact same file lilo.conf just copied over. If I use linear (under SuSE) it just gives me an L on boot, if not, LI.
Do you need to use linear? I just looked at the yast help, and it said that it's faster (which i have found to usually be better) to not use the linear option. -- Aaron Seelye <A HREF="http://revolution.3-cities.com/~roberto"><A HREF="http://revolution.3-cities.com/~roberto</A">http://revolution.3-cities.com/~roberto -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
