I had Compiz Fusion running on my system but after an update it has not worked. For other reasons, I have reloaded my system and tried to start it up again and have no luck so far. I am running Open suse 10.3, AMD 64 bit version I have installed Nvidia 7600 card with the following rpm nvidia-gfxG01-kmp-default-169.07_2.6.22.13_0.3-1.1 x11-video-nvidiaG01-169.07-1.1 Executed the following commands for the Nvidia card nvidia-xconfig --composite nvidia-xconfig --render-accel nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals -d 24 Put in the following file ~/.config/compiz/compiz-manager The file contains the following: COMPIZ_OPTIONS="--no-libgl-fallback --ignore-desktop-hints --replace" LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 WHITELIST="fglrx“ No love occurs. If I execute compiz --replace I get the following: compiz: Trying '/usr/$LIB/libIndirectGL.so.1' compiz (core) - Fatal: No GLXFBConfig for default depth, this isn't going to work. compiz (core) - Error: Failed to manage screen: 0 compiz (core) - Fatal: No manageable screens found on display :0.0 I can not think of anythimg more to do. Any help will be appreciated. -- Joseph Loo jloo@acm.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
