I have an encrypted filesystem, and when I recompile the kernel, (after a cloneconfig), it fails dramatically:
Do you mean to say your root filesystem is encrypted? Uau! :-O
/etc/sysconfig/kernel has reiserfs as a module, do I need to add another module to recognise the encrypted system, if so, which one please?
Yes... "loop_fish2" at least. But the encrypted filesystems is loaded after the rest of the partitions, or at least the "/", when the system is already running. I don't know if you can get that running :-?
mk_initrd -k vmlinuz.rjsf -i initrd / # <- minus '.suse'
I prefer to edit mk_initrd and add my own settings for ever. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
