The package is a self-install so I have to choose a modem and the one I am thinking of is the D-Link DSL-504 ADSL Router with 4 Port 10/100 Switch
I am using this router with BTOpenworld, and it works fine (I think it has been discontinued?) The only problem I had was during the initial installation, which was due to plugging it straight into the network that already had a DHCP server on it, and confusion happened. In the end I just connected a single PC to it with a 'hard coded' IP address, configured everything, then plugged the network in. The only other issue is that driver/firmware upgrades have to be done from a Windows machine. I have also heard good reports about the Vigor 2600 Router.
