The iPhone is still not available here in Sweden. They just went on sale in Britain and Germany last week. So I can't help. I did get to play with one in Chicago at the Apple store. They are seductive. I am very interested in your iPhone experiences. Don't you need a Windows or OS-X computer to enable the iPhone? Keep us (me) posted on what you find. Having said this, I am looking at a Nokia N-810. Any phone with a busybox shell and vi just can't be all that bad. And a Linux-based open source SDK to boot.

I suspect we'll see greater Linux-side development for the iPhone after Apple finally releases their SDK which is due out, I believe, in February. Until that time, they want you to use the device the way THEY say. That means using OSX or on Windows, using Outlook. It will be interesting to see if someone out there develops an Evolution plugin. -- ---Bryen--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
