You neither tell what package you installed nor show the actual
   errors. IIRC Leap is using cronie and its cron.service does not have
   these commands.

I am running 15.5 and its /usr/lib/systemd/system/cron.service
(currently owned by cronie-1.5.7-150400.84.3.1.x86_64) also has no
ExecStartPre commands.
