What do you use to partition and format a new hard drive? I tried to use Yast>Partitioner but it said I couldn't use that to do what I need done.
It's a new bare SATA hard drive.

Although I haven't checked what program Yast2 partitioner is using, it's odd it won't work for you. Alternatives, cfdisk from the shell or install parted and qtparted. qtparted is the gui for parted which seems to work well. lee -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
