Hi, I cannot subscribe directly as I have a static IP address from my ISP, but as a dial-up user running SuSE 5.1, I do not know how to stop my hostname from appending itself to the from addresss when sending mail, therefor whenever users reply, I don't get the mail ? I have edited the /etc/rc.config and changed FROM_ADDRESS="alaska.net", which is my ISP's domain, but I still get pwilke.alaska.net as the sending domain ? Most frustrating and I would really like some help as a new SuSE 5.1 user. If I need to send more info, you'll have to e-mail me as I have yet to subscribe fearing the mail problem would get in the way. Thanks (Please reply with help to pwilke@alaska.net) Pat -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
