Hello,
I'm just curious. Is it possible to make a patch cd from the downloaded patches from YOU so that I can install them on another computer? What is to be done with the delta patches?
Thank you, Mrugesh Karnik Registered Linux User #375243
Yes, you have to create the directory structure for it with the files under their respective directories, the same as they are laid out on the site, e.g barrabas:/ftp/jan05 # l -R /ISO/i386/update/9.1/
<SNIP>
Just for interest's sake, would it not be possible to burn the CD according to the dir structure in var/xxx/xxx and then mount the CD/DVD to appear in that dir so that YOU believes the patches/updates are already d/l and just awaiting installation? -- ..."Yogi" CH Namasté Yoga Studio
Possible, once the CD has the structure /i386/updates/9.2/. Originally I downloaded all the patches to one directory and just burned them on to CD, but it was looking for the structure as seen on the site. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
