What to make of kernel msgs?

I am getting this msg roughly 70 times per second, so you can well imagine the 
size of my log.  What to do to correct this??  

The HSF device in question is my Conexant internal modem, for which SuSE --and 
I have installed-- the driver.  Upon executing SuSEconfig, last evening, I 
noted that there was an error on line# 15 regarding 'no file or directory' 
regarding hsfconfig.  Yet, when I used hsfconfig it worked.
