Felix - you are going to be a happy man :)
Partly. After seeing you post so much on the Trinity mailing list I assumed there were already Trinity rpms for openSUSE, neglecting to actually examine http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net/ before starting this thread.
I don't know about the tumbleweed aspect of it, but Ilya Chernykh and Robert Xu (primary packager working Trinity) are working Trinity for OpenSUSE. See:

As you know, Ilya has done a fantastic job keeping KDE3 updated for openSuSE and there effort to bring Trinity packages to openSuSE is well underway.

You can, not me. If I was into building I'd more likely be using Gentoo than openSUSE. I dabbled in building some time back. I have no head for it. My head's into trying what others have built, and looking for breakage and things to improve. So, I went for Tumbleweed without KDE3 or Trinity last night. When public mirrors start showing me Trinity openSUSE rpms, I'll try them too. Even 4.6.1 hasn't fixed the KDE4 bugs that most bother me. -- "How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver." Proverbs 16:16 NKJV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
