What about 9.1? I haven't upgraded to 9.2 yet, but 9.1 ROCKS! I'm pretty sure that it supports SATA :-)
9.2 would support SATA to the same extent (at least) as the associated Linux 2.6 kernel. Take a look at: http://www.linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html In my case, this article would have been MUCH more helpful prior to my hardware purchase. As it is, it helped me identify and purchase a replacement controller that now works. Good luck, Tony
