I have two X-related questions: Is there a way of copying an entire file to the X clipboard. I picture a command line tool: which copies the contents of averylongfile.txt to the X clipboard. Then I could paste it using Netscape's or Emacs's paste command. And, is there a way of assigning dedicated COPY and PASTE keys? I grew very used to those under Solaris/OpenWin. Select something in any X program, hit COPY, move somewhere else, hit PASTE. Very, very useful. I'd like FRONT too, but I'll settle for COPY/PASTE first.
