Something went south with my system the other day and somehow I lost my settings for my nic card. It's an SMC9452TX gigabyte card. It worked fine until I rebooted. Now, I can't find the driver or can't get it setup correctly. I downloaded the 2.4.2 driver from smc but when I try to do an insmod smc94x2.o it says its compiled for 2.4.2-2 and I'm running 2.4.21-144-athlon. Should I force it? I'm not sure how to compile this...or if I can. Here's a list of stuff in the folder: dp83820.h dp.c hsm.c hsm.h makefile nsm.h nsmtypes.h readme smc94x2.o sp.c There's nothing in the readme about compiling. Anyone with any thoughts? About 6 months ago, someone helped me out with this, but that was before I started saving everything that helped me. Thanks! Tom
