You might have a look at /etc/samba/lmhosts

YAST/Network Services/DNS and Host Name/Name Server " /" /Routing/Default Gateway

Thanks again, Greg This is a blank too. Nameserver is correct, as is the default gateway. And no other entries in /etc/hosts. Any other clues? Peter
