You can open apps directly into another virtual window by using the geometry option; i.e., if you have an 800x600 display, "xterm -geometry 80x24+0+0" opens an xterm window in the startup window. "xterm -geometry 80x24+0+600" opens a window in the virtual window immediately below the startup window. You can also click an app window in the virtual desktop display and drag it to another virtual window. Sam JPShebell@aol.com wrote:
