Burned the iso and booted the system. I get the same menu as the 12.3 Live CD. Nothing about Rescue. Is this correct and if so why would I need the Live CD also?
It is not installable. Runs xfce.
The idea is that the selection of tools is better for rescuing. dd_rescue, photorec, mc, parted, yast.
There are already multiple such live images out there, well known, well established, exiting for years. Why do we need yet another one? What it does better than knoppix, systemrescuecd, partedmagic and others? It is quite useful to have such tools as part of installation DVD, so I can spare extra download. But if I need to download extra image anyway, why exactly should I chose this one? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAlFNKpsACgkQR6LMutpd94xhFACfQSz8XPZjdGfutFN7dw1QAbpE CBkAnAmj7hBZAWSAOjroYda721JR0PaY =Vba4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
