Good to know. Thanks. In case others are wondering, using a NetApp nfs4 exported share, I was able to perform "mount -t nfs4 ..." out of the box successfully from Fedora Core 3 (64-bit). Oddly, this command failed for Red Hat Enteprise 4 AS (32-bit). I guess it WAS premature after all. (I'm sure there is some hackery on RHEL4 that would make it work but the fact that it failed out of the box and FC worked is abismal.) Well, I just installed Suse 10 and I was hugely disappointed to see that the mount command does not support "nfs4" in the vfstype option.
Does anyone know if nfs4 will be included in any of the upcoming beta relases of 10?
Well, nfsv4 support in Linux is still being finished. Rest assured that we are working on the support, but it is not clear if it will make 10.0... It will definitely make 10.1.
