The window you need may be at one end, so you fixate the view there. Then you need to go to the desktop menu at another end, so the view has to change. I suppose it would be a keyboard shortcut. But this feature changed the screen resolution. There may be another feature that keeps the resolution but zooms in or out on the region of the screen. Maybe an accessibility feature. Or are you talking of having a bigger "virtual" screen, but keeping the resolution constant? Me, I use workspaces instead, put each application I need on one (on the laptop, that has a small screen). - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
