I read that the driver for this card is integrated into Xfree86 3.3.3, so i checked their website for info about the integration. The site said the card is supported via the xsvga server. Does anyone know if this server is accelerated for the card? I was surprised it is under xsvga...the MGA-G200 chipset is fast and has many features and I thought it would be supported under a separate accelerated server and not in a generic server. just wondering...
The accelerated servers refer to servers written only for one card type, the XF86_SVGA server contains accelerated servers for a whole bunch of different servers now --- the term accelerated server as the XF86Config file uses it is just a historical curiousity. (As I see it -- )
