[SLE] How to get Started.

I want to run Suse from a CD on a laptop. I'm confused about how to do this. Do I download all of the CDs or the Live DVD? Or will I have to dual boot the laptop? Have the disc sets for Suse 7.0 which I purchased and ran several years ago, but they are I'm sure only of historical interest now.
