Thanks for your reply Lenz. I checked my settings and indeed it's ippp0, so that ok.
But it's still not working. When I start Nestcape ( Nescape with direct connection to Internet under Proxy settings, or do i have to set it to proxy connection) the Linux PC dials but no display in Netscape on the Win95 PC.
What els do I have to adjust like host.conf. or host or resolv.conf ? Do I have to put this gateway IP number (192.168.1.0) in some of these files?
Your default route (in /etc/route.conf) should point to your point-to-point partner of your ISDN connection. You should also have your Provider's DNS in your /etc/resolv.conf (Configure this using YaST).
Do I have to put Firewall "yes" in order to use Masquerade, or can it be used seperate?
No, you don't need to activate the firewalling rules to be able to use the masquerading features.
When I put "default 192.168.1.0 in the host.conf file i get an error message at bootup.
There is no need to modify /etc/host.conf. You should have your ISP's DNS IP-Adress in /etc/resolv.conf. In addition to that, your default route in /etc/route.conf should point to your ISP's IP-Adress (the "other" side of your ISDN connection), you can configure all these things using YaST. So, if you run "ifconfig" as user "root", you should see at least three network devices: lo (your loopback interface), eth0 (your Ethernet NIC) and ippp0 (your syncPPP ISDN-connection). You should also have three lines in /etc/route.conf (one for eth0, one for ippp0 and your default route).
