Hi all; I'm using PPP at the command line to connect to my ISP. Sometimes it is very slow or worst it picks up the phone but does not make a connection. Does anyone have a script to delay my fetchpop & sendmails commands until there is a connection? Perhaps checks for a connection before it runs the rest of my script? Right now I first run ppp-on and then (by hand) run the rest of my script. TIA!!!
