Hi I had similar experience when I went from 7.2 to 7.3 With 7.2 I had usbmgr installed, but not with 7.3. Because I found usbmgr easy to configure, and worked well, I went to freshmeat and got it for 7.3 too. No problems after installing it, and all USB-stuff works now. But, I believe it is not the only way around Your problem, so someone can surely tell You another way to do it. Usbmgr worked for me. Jaska. Viestissä Perjantai 15. Anyone got any idea why my SuSE installation forgets I have a USB Scanner attached every time I reboot?
I have an AGFA SnapScan e26 that works fine if I go into Control Center and run the Scanner setup wizard and tell it that the scanner is a Generic SnapScan.
