Hi, I would like to know if anyone is running a Logitech optical usb wheel mouse using SuSE 7.2 personal edition.
As a last resort I reinstalled 7.2 and it will just not accept my mouse so I wanted to know if I'm just spinning my wheels (no pun intended) with this thing.

I'm using the Logitech Mouseman+ Optical/Cordless (as a PS2 mouse) on SuSE 7.2 Professional, without any problems. Everything but the thumb button works, which is fine by me, as I'd probably press it accidentally anyways :)
Let me know if you need the mouse device section from XF86Config.
Just bought a Logitech optical wheelmouse as direct replacement for Microsoft Intellimouse. Although a USB device it also has a PS2 adaptor, which I used. No problems. You should be able to get it working as a USB mouse too - the following modules are required: input.o mousedev.o keybdev.o usbcore.o usb-uhci.o or usb-ohci.o (I've posted on this before or see KDE Control Centre) hid.o M
