This is SuSE Pro 8.2, on a Sony VAIO laptop (P4M 1.8GHz, 512MB RAM, 30GBHD, DVD/CD-RW combo, ATI Radeon 7500 LW). I am using the madwifi driver for the wireless card, and it worked flawlessly hotplugging it under 2.4.21-4.
