Hi,
During installation, just after you've worked your way through the package selection, there is an option to save the currently selected packages to a floppy disk.
This is nice, and it implies that you could use this disk to quickly configure your installation, should you want to repeat the installation, because you have a new bigger hard-drive or because you have a few more machines that you want to configure in the same way.
Can anyone enlighten me how to read teh configuration I've just saved to floppy as a means of package selection?
Kind regards,

You didn't mention which version of SuSE you were dealing with but in 8.0, the load/save functions of package selection are both in the 'extras' portion on the individual package selection screen. So wherever you went to save the selections to a floppy is the same place you would go to load the selections. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
