Would someone please offer me knowledge about wifi cards or USB devices that are KNOWN to work under 11.3. The D-Link DWA-130 is supposed to work according to multiple sites, but they offer conflicting setups. If someone has actual successful experience, I would like to hear about it.
from what i can find out there are no native drivers available according to: http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_part.php?brandname=D-Link however make sure you have the latest kernel available. the libertas driver (http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/libertas) supports marvel chipsets but i don't think the one on your usb is supported. i've had luck with dlink wlan card that look on the outside just like yours but in your case i think you have to use ndiswrapper. there is a good thread that might interest you at the forums: http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/wireless/410502-d-link-dwa-... from what i can see ndis doesn't work too well with that too . you might want to have a look at rt3070 too. can you post output of lsusb and dmesg|less? also look at this : http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/wireless/391535-my-wireless... a good guide to help you in you situation. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
