I already found out I was looking for /etc/rc.d/boot.local instead of /etc/rc.d/rc.local
It is not yet working but I am tweaking and learning... Seems I get to know a lot about enviramental variables also :-) (see previous postings...)

Hello suse users,
I have come across a website that generates firewall scripts. Being the Newbee that I am this seems a good option until I understand ipchains a bit more etc etc.
So now I have a script called rc.firewall in /etc/rc.d . Question is how and when to run it at startup. The install manual from the website uses RH as an example and some things are different in directory structure. Suggestions??
