SuSE 6.3 (2.2.13)
Having just installed a new hard drive, I was planning on moving my current Linux installation (on a smaller disk) to the new drive. However, I have decided to do a fresh install instead. I would like to use reiserfs,
but I'm not sure about all that I need to do. I know that 6.3 has support for reiserfs, and there is an rpm on the SuSE ftp site. Is this all I need? What's the step by step process?
Well, the ReiserFS support in SuSE Linux 6.3 is not recommended for productive use. This version of ReiserFS did not have the journaling part! I would not recommend you to do that, use SuSE Linux 6.4 instead, if you want to use ReiserFS.
