This doesn't prevent my linux from starting neither from reading my DOS file systems from, for example, Konqueror. I even can write in them. In fact I got a w2000 (FAT32) and a w311/dos622 (DOS) partitions (+ reiserfs). Start thru LILO. No problem with w311. Since I added a scd hdd, cannot start w2000 any more, even reinstalling it. When starting linux I get the message as attchd. Kernel is 2.4.19pre8 all DOS and FAT options in the menuconfig are set on "Y". Any hint ? -------------------------------------------------------
