I don't see any show-stoppers there.
At least for the 'keyboard status' there was already a high discussion. This is probably not a 'show-stopper' for most people, but there are people with some disabilities that highly depend on it (same users that use sticky keys, so for example alt, ctrl and shift not as modifier to be pressed with a 2nd key, but as toggling keys, as you and me are used with num lock and caps lock).
