rebuilding with make clean make API=CFG80211 KBUILD_NOPEDANTIC=1 make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build M=`pwd`
i always use a simple "make" to create the module. just now, i upgraded to kernel 3.15.2. i entered the bcm_6_30_223_141 directory and called "make".
the new module has the same error
i don't understand. how can it be, that the same code compiles and loads on my system, but not on your's? after a kernel update i always go to /usr/src/linux-obj/x86_64/desktop and there i call "make prepare" and then "make modules_prepare". after this i go to the bcm_6_30_223_141 directory and call "make". then i copy the wl.ko to the modules directory. right now, this would be /lib/modules/3.15.2-1.gfb7c781-desktop/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/ and i have installed the following kernel-packages: kernel-devel-3.15.2-1.1.gfb7c781.noarch kernel-source-3.15.2-1.1.gfb7c781.noarch kernel-desktop-devel-3.15.2-1.1.gfb7c781.x86_64 kernel-firmware-20140624git-90.1.noarch kernel-desktop-3.15.2-1.1.gfb7c781.x86_64 -- Rainer Klier Research & Development xyzmo Software GmbH, SIGNificant E-Signature Solutions A-4052 Ansfelden, Haiderstraße 23 Tel.: +43 7229 88060-0, E-Mail: rainer.klier@xyzmo.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
