The fact is, YOU works fabulously well. I have NEVER had a broken system from a YOU update. I currently keep 6 machines running on Suse versions 8.2, 9.0 and 9.1, and I do nightly YOU update checks for all of them.
I very highly doubt that the majority of the "2189" posts you have downloaded have to do with individual problems specific to YOU. In fact, I'll bet you'll find that there are only a handful of specific YOU related problems in that group. I just can't see any reason why anyone would bash YOU at this point - Suse really seems to have this technology very well figured out. Of course, it is always good to keep your installation CD's on hand - that goes without saying.
