Hi, You're absolutely right - the installation _IS_ trying to mount the partition (I'm not sure why). Looking at the terminal output it seems the installer knows to use the NTFS driver, and then mounts the partition - it then seems to be performing some sort of disk checking (not sure why). Not sure if I'll be able to interupt the checking process to unmount the partition. Is there any way to instruct the installer not to try to mount this partition (i.e. marking it as "bad")? I would only cause a problem if it was mounting that partition. If it is can't you open a different terminal and umount it?
