Yes, I also have aspell-en installed along with aspell, pspell, and gnome-spell. I've also checked gnomecc and spell-checking is enabled with "en" as the language in HTML Viewer|Miscelleaneous. I also upgraded to Evolution 1.0.8 and upgraded the above-mentioned spelling packages to the most recent versions (using the very nice SuSE apt-get!). Still, Evolution won't spell-check my emails.
