HI, I am going to install external wireless AP from wich I will put Ethernet cable to my network card (desktop machine). Probably I need to configure network card to make it work, and thats all. What i can use to monitor trafick, with some graphical views if posible? Uploads, downloads and so. With my dial up modem I used to see it with Data Rate - KInternet.
Since SUSE Linux 9.2 kinternet can also control and monitor Ethernet and WLAN interfaces. Include the line
USERCONTROL='yes'
in the corresponding ifcfg file in /etc/sysconfig/network/.
Thank you to all for ideas, but this hack with KInternet is that I looking for. P.S. Thank you boys from SUSE, I will never give my SuSE 9.2 for even 100 free Windows! -- Mirko
