OK, after my first post a few days ago on crashing plasma and krunner (still unsolved) I now have an additional problem regarding Plasma: it uses up all CPU and memory after some time. More specific it is now at 98% CPU and 1,6 Gig and 81% memory (Virt.).
In a konsole, did you try to kquitapp plasma-desktop then move the plasma* files in ~/.kde4/share/config/ and restart plasma-desktop afterwards?
If that works, you can move your old plasma* files back and remove the plasmoids in them one by one to find the one that is causing it.

I did that before I left the office yesterday, and at least at the beginning the Desktop is more reactive and the system tray looks fairly ok (with lots of stuff missing). However when I came in this morning top showed again 98% CPU and 48% Memory... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
