Southern Comfort, really? That's the stuff we drank as teenagers before we developed a taste for the finer things in life.
Oh I see - "finer things in life" like those elephant p*** you collectively call beer? :-D
OK, now offtopic so no more comments about elephant p***, right? :-)
Har! This reminds me of a visit I had to Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) in 1969 when I drank a lot of "Elephant Walk" beer. I remember getting unusual headaches even after moderate consumptive sessions. Someone said the headaches came from formaldehyde used as a preservative in the tropical climate. I have no idea if this was true, but at least it made for a good story. FWIW, I just googled Elephant Walk Beer and nothing came up, but there are references to formaldehyde in beer as a preservative, especially in China. So go figure...
As you would know, I posted this in offtopic but as you now refer to good stories about beer here I thought that India being so close to Sri Lanka it would be appropriate to now also mention it here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3023161/Caught-red-handed-Woman-urin...
