Apparently docker do not support its use on SUSE/openSUSE so we are reliant on support from SUSE/openSUSE. I found https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Docker which was last updated 20 August 2018 and is clearly out of date, since it doesn't cover 15.0. It also refers to a package python3-docker-compose which does not exist in the current standard repositories and its not clear whether docker-compose is the current equivalent. There's also a worrying statement: "Warning: Currently there is a bug that affects docker used in btrfs partitions. As a workaround you can create a different partition for /var/lib/docker." You'll note that it doesn't give any information about where the bug is so I can find out its current status. I went to the Talk page to ask, but I see somebody has already asked the same question and got no answer. The related book that does cover Leap 15.0 - https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/virtualization/html/book.virt/in... - appears to cover only LXC, whatever that is and does not seem to mention docker. Is there any documentation for docker on openSUSE Leap 15.0 that anybody is aware of, and particularly something that covers security and this stated btrfs bug? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
