Opensuse 11.3 After I hybernate and turn on my comp my display turns off (while loading opensuse). I have to reboot to make it work.
I tried to kill X with ctrl+alt+backspace, but this hanged up my comp. Can anyone advice a direction to digg?
Most likely the drivers of your graphics card don't support hibernation. I know that mine (radeon, KMS) and some (most?) nvidia binary drivers don't.
