Hi list,
- just wanted to install (via YaST) the kernel source for my plain vanilla standard 11.0 kernel (2.6.25.20-0.1-pae). - In YaST I get (xlated from danish):
ERROR: The package kernel-source-2.6.25.20-0.1 did not pass the integrity check.
I tried several times - with different internet connections, same result.
Eh...now what?

Has yast perhaps downloaded a corrupt copy of it? Can you check the caches in /var/cache/zypp ?
I have a different checksum on that file (I think it is the same file):
2f0f3bf6b1e81e1be5329336f0345ee8b8cf7f9d kernel-source-2.6.25.20-0.1.i586.rpm 212077bb56b97ed2e4297a771dc2886d kernel-source-2.6.25.20-0.1.i586.rpm
The first is the sha1sum ;)
The local md5 sum also matches the one in the repodata.
Oh, I see. How silly can one be :) The sha1sum of the package on download.opensuse.org is indeed the same then, 2f0f3bf6b1e81e1be5329336f0345ee8b8cf7f9d. Does the problem persist? I am currently checking this file on all mirrors, in order to find a bad one - so far they were all good. In which region are you? It is a big file and takes a while to download; I'll need to implement this in a parallelized way in the future, then it can be checked much easier. The libzypp download failover that we are planning for 11.2 will prevent such issues, by the way.
