I cannot get the TeX Live! 'install packages' shell script to work off the CD. I found the standard distro of teTeX with SuSE ancient and unusable when it came to reproducing the examples in the LateX Graphics Companion, e.g. the version of pstricks has 'gradient', etc. packages that were updated in 1997... If anyone can help, please do... k. : :A couple of examples of things I've done or plan to do: : :- Installing KDE 1.1 on a SuSE 5.3 system (works fine, but I dread the : next update) : :- Installing the TeXLive distribution : :Thoughts, anyone? : :Paul Abrahams : : : :- :To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with :this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e :Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the :archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
