I am running the 2.6.31.14-0.6-desktop kernel on opensuse 11.2, I want to upgrade to the latest build kernel at least 2.6.35 which will probably fix my buggy DSDT table on my Toshiba L505D-GS6000.
I am running kernel-default-2.6.37-41.1.x86_64 on 11.2 w/o any problem. Just add to zypper: zypper ar -r
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/HEAD/openSUSE_11.2/Kerne l:HEAD.repo
Insted HEAD kernel, it's better to use stable one. http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/openSUSE_11.2/
zypper ref Kernel-HEAD_11.2
edit /etc/zypp/zypp.conf multiversion = kernel-<your flavour> ### this will keep your present kernel as a fall-back if the new causes ### problems
zypper in kernel-default-2.6.37-41.1
2.6.37-41.1 will be set as default, reboot.
