TDSL driver ? I use T-DSL to connect to the net also with my SuSE 8.1 system and as far as a TDSL driver goes i have not intalled except in my past Win$ system.
No, it's not a point. What I want to do is to install SuSE Linux directly from ftp.suse.com using T-DSL connection. What I can't is to load TDSL (pppoed) module manually during installation procedure. Any help will be appresiated.
TIA,
Tim
Hi Tim Im not to sure about your question when you say (Load TDSL pppoed). However is you are using ADSL (aka T-DSL) from the rosa then you problably are using cfos pppoe. This protocal software is not a full version and will not allow you to exercise the full pppoe potential. I would recommend that you go and download a copy of Robert Schlabbachs version of RASPPPOE and install it. This is a voll version and the protocal will allow you to do more than the demo version of cfos, like ftping ;-). Normally after you install SuSE it has a section in Yast for your DSL adjustments. Then you do not need cfos or roberts version. SuSE takes care of that. All said and maybe done, My best sugestion is that you pick up a version of SuSE online or at the nearest publication store. Its cheaper then all of the fusseing around with a download that might be defected throw cyber noise or whatever. Besides that you get some support from the brought version and you help the SuSE community by doing so. I hope that the above will help. MFG Robinson
