IIANM, this means that hermes.suse.de was unable to resolve your domain "oregonhanggliding.com" and therefore rejected the post, ie: spam control.
Probably a temporary failure.
Your mail client needs to set the "envelope_from" to match your email address. I do not know how to accomplish this in elm, it may not be possible. The newer client, mutt which is quite similar to elm, sets this in the rc file.
The envelope_from matchs the from address for all email clients - except a few that can set them differently, like mutt.
Thanks for the information Carlos. Interesting thing is that for a few months now using ELM I've had no problems sending and receiving emails from the suse suse lists. Some have suggesed that my nameserver was broken, which is not the case either because if my nameserver was broken, I'd have a few more problems that just suse lists. However, this *issue* has appeared to corrected *itself*. I made no changes to my system. I frankly thought that someone at someone at Suse didn't like a post of mine and made a change to have my address rejected. :-) So I'm confused..but things seems to be working now.... -Jim-
